You need to have a clear vision of what your brand is and what you're doing different or better than something that's out there.
From t-shirts and hats to suits and tuxedos, this is Mike Irons Founder of Situation Control. Mike grew up in Southern California where he was influenced by skateboarding, surfing, tattoos and hip-hop. When streewear was just in the infancy stage, he was collaborating with today's biggest streetwear brands such as Crooks & Castles, Fiberops, 8Five2 and The Hundreds. Now, as time has passed and fashion taste has changed, Mike found himself more comfortable in looking good in a suit. Although he wears a suit throughout the day, when it is time to relax those t-shirts and skateboards come-out to play.
This change in fashion taste led to what-is now his men's wear fashion company called Situation Control. Situation Control is a custom tailored made to measure clothing shop. With his new showroom in San Francisco, he provides a unique one-on-one experience to create one of a kind suits, sport coats, shirts, trousers and outerwear.
In this podcast, you will learn how Mike has always been a real doer. He was once a DJ hustling to book gigs. He built a T-Shirt company called Irons Brand, which ended up being quite popular in Japan. Today, he finds himself doing his real passion which is helping clients look and feel good in his one of a kind suits.

You don't wait till tomorrow. Do it today. You'll learn. You'll make mistakes. I make mistakes and that's the way you learn but you're never going to do it if you don't even start.
Mike believes his hustle comes from his mother, who always had 2-3 different jobs to help provide for the family. He says if he "doesn't have a lot of different things happening at once he doesn't feel like he's grinding."
As entrepreneurs, Mike expresses we must have a clear vision. We need to know where we are going. We need to be patient and we also need to celebrate the little wins on the never-ending journey of being an entrepreneur.
Mike is super cool and he will guide you through the whole creative process of creating a suit, sport coat, shirt or trouser that you will love and look great in. Go make your appointment with Mike and arrange your visit to the Situation Control Showroom.
